Golf - There will be an organizational meeting for Boy's Golf next Wednesday February 8th at 3:15 in Coach Blackman's room E-12. Everyone planning to tryout needs to attend, if you cannot attend see coach Blackman before Friday February 10th to get tryout information.
Favorite Teacher Contest - Students - here is an opportunity for you to tell the community how much you appreciate your favorite teacher. Barnes & Noble is sponsoring the "My Favorite Teacher Contest." For more information and contest rules see Mrs. Olson in the front office.
NHS - Any NHS member who missed Thursday's meeting should stop by to see Mrs. Noble or Mrs. Doran in the next week.
Outside Dates - Sign-up for the snowball dance will begin Monday. February 6, at 8:00 AM and run through Monday, February 13, at 3:30 PM. Guests must be at least a Freshman in High School. They cannot be 21 years of age or older. Grades 10 through 12 will sign up at Mrs. Good's desk in the front office. Freshmen students will sign-up with Mrs. Naylor in the Freshmen office. The dance is Saturday, February 18, from 8:00-11:00 PM and the cost is $5.00 per ticket. East student and their guest must present a photo ID at the door.
SHARP - SHARP Reward: All students who earned a SHARP star card have FREE ADMISSION to the basketball game on Tuesday, February 7. Just show your SHARP card and enjoy a great game as the Vikings beat Topeka West!
Correction - The Centennial League Swim Meet on Friday (2/10) is actually going to be held at the KSU Natatorium in Manhattan, NOT the 501 Natatorium at Hummer as previously reported.
Bingo and Bake Sale - You! Yeah YOU! Wake up! Have you heard of the new funner than hamster races game called BINGO!??? Yes it is new and has caught on like GANGBUSTERS! Bingo stands for BIG... INCREDIBLE.... NEW (yes new!) GAME of OUTRAGEOUS Fun! We hear even Grandmother types like this game. If you can spell BINGO and can count and recognize numbers..... even YOU can play this new game! If you win you get to yell BINGO! Then you get to CHOOSE a prize! I know..... even Vanna White wants to turn THESE LETTERS! You can choose a prize OR you can PIMP a PLAYER or ITS member. WHAT?! You get to be a PIMP!? Yes... if you choose that prize....! No worries. We will stay squeaky clean and school appropriate! Plus there will be tasty sweet treats, salty popcorn, and soda pop. Diva will serve as the BINGO caller and PRC--Pimp Request Processor. All is well and no ITS member or Seaman Player will be hurt in the process of providing laughter during the game process.
